D*HA • The Police Training Institute (PTI) has trained the first batch of policewomen on the principles of communication between the police and people with special needs (deaf and dump).
Their words, not mine.
We have a Laugh Factory here, rather "The Laughter Factory", but who needs it when you can just read the local daily rags. If only this were the exception....

Dear Kelly and Perry,
What I like in your post is ".....on the principles of communication between the police and people with special needs (deaf and dump)."
Actually I was on a (early) morning walk and this thought struck me that why not the sign language be the international language of communication also? Make sense! I am trying to gather more knowledge on this beautiful language, which is silent and yet clearer. Energy efficient?
Who am I? I am an Indian, residing in Kolkata, male professional, born 49 years ago.
Why this language is not in the internet for the benifit of those who cannot get the words and language. Let us see how it goes.
I am fascinated by you all 14 young ladies who are believer in this concept. Can we live beyond the boundary of language?
Thanks
Asesh Datta
